About this event
Vertieres Legacy presents Bal de l Heritage at Melrose Ballroom in Queens on Saturday, 14 November 2026. Doors at 10 PM, running to 4 AM.
The timing is deliberate. The Battle of Vertieres is marked on 18 November, and this ball lands on the Saturday before it. Vertieres Legacy describes itself as a Haitian cultural experience brand built around heritage balls, galas and youth investment, and the VIP packages are named for figures of the revolution: Marie-Claire Heureuse, Catherine Flon, Henry Christophe, Capois La Mort and Jean-Jacques Dessalines.
